Thanks to POW Network, Task Force Omega, & Scope Systems, lots of folks and related organizations are able to make these POW/MIA bios available to the public. We are by no means the first to come up with this idea, nor do we claim any ownership to the idea of sharing these bios with the public. We had been receiving many requests for POW/MIA bio's, so we set up this webpage. Please feel free to search the databases yourself using the links below. Some of the bios also contain photographs.
If you are looking for information on Korean War POW/MIA's, please visit our Korean War Links webpage. There is a link there to the Korean War POW/MIA database, but you will not find bios there, only names/rank/etc. If you would like more information on a Korean War POW/MIA, I would recommend you contact the Coalition of Families of Korean & Cold War POW/MIA's. You can ask them if they will contact the family on your behalf and ask them for information about their loved one. The coalition will then pass on your name and e-mail to the family, and it will be up to the family if they desire contact.
If you are looking for information on World War II POW/MIA's, please visit our World War II Links webpage.
The POW/MIA Ring is a also good source of bios already up on line.
Do you want to get involved, but don't have a POW/MIA Honor Page? Do you need the name of a POW/MIA to get started?
There are three excellent Databases where you can get names, bios, loss incident reports, and some photographs on POW/MIA's:
